Curious about poetry but not sure where to begin? This open mic is a gentle invitation to step up to the microphone and share a few words in a warm, welcoming room. You’re welcome to bring something you’ve written, a favourite poem you love, or even a few thoughts scribbled on the back of a napkin.
There’s no pressure to perform and no expectation of perfection. Some people will read, some will listen, and all of us will enjoy an afternoon of language, laughter, and the small courage it takes to speak from the heart.
Whether you’re a seasoned poet or simply poetry-curious, pull up a chair, grab a coffee, and see what happens. It’ll be our first one, so it’s likely to be intimate.
